Load Shedding Increases To 77 Hours a Week

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased load shedding to 11 hours a day (77 Hours a Week) effective from Poush 10, 2072 (December 25, 2015).

Along with the increased load shedding NEA has also rearranged some locations into different groups.

The power outage has been hiked due to excessive load in the system,  reduced water level in the rivers and delay in reinstating the earthquake hit power houses, said NEA.
